Cottage food labeling requirements in Arizona

Verify every requirement with the official agency cited below before producing or selling food.
Each package of cottage food sold in Arizona must include:
- Name and registration number of the food preparer
- List of all ingredients, including those in components
- Production date
- "This product was produced in a home kitchen that may come in contact with common food allergens and pet allergens and is not subject to public health inspection."
- The ADHS website address for reporting foodborne illness and checking registration status (www.azdhs.gov/CottageFood)
- If made in a facility for individuals with developmental disabilities, a statement saying so
- Label must be clear and legible (printed or handwritten) and attached to the package; packaging must be clean, fully enclose the food, and have a tamper-evident seal (the label may serve as the seal)
